Living Rosary – Friday, October 15th at 1:30PM
We celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary by honoring October as the Month of the Rosary. The rosary is an invitation to experience the grace of Mary’s spiritual motherhood as she leads us to her Son, Jesus. The Living Rosary has been a long held tradition practiced at St. Cecilia. Here, students from Kindergarten through 8th grades participate as “beads” while we pray the Rosary aloud. This year, the Living Rosary will take place in-person in the church and will be live-streamed as well. We invite our students and their families to participate in person or virtually by watching and praying the Rosary with us on Friday, October 15th at 1:30PM. What a powerful moment in prayer it will be for the St. Cecilia Catholic School community to unite in praying the Rosary together as we honor our Holy Mother, Mary.
Morning Safety Patrol
Students in 6th-8th grade will have an opportunity to apply to be part of our St. Cecilia Catholic School Safety Patrol! They will help with opening vehicle doors at Community Center carpool in the mornings and assist younger students as they walk to class if needed. We will take 6 students for each rotation.

Qualifications:
  • Students must demonstrate responsibility in the classroom with managing their own behavior independently, completing classwork and homework assignments, and are able to interact with peers and adults appropriately
  • Grades and conduct from last year and this year will be checked by Mrs. Mejia
  • Students must be able to arrive at school by 7:25AM daily during their 4 week shift
  • For questions, please email Mrs. Mejia.
Red Ribbon Week – October 25th – October 28th
We will celebrate National Red Ribbon Week the week of October 25th. This is a time we reflect and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle for ourselves and our children. Our students will be participating in dress up days during the school week to signify their commitment to making the choice to be healthy and live drug-free. As we lead our community in making the commitment to remain drug-free, let’s keep the children worldwide in our thoughts and prayers.
