FROM THE DIRECTOR


The 2024-2025 school year is almost here! Summer camp was a blast, and now we are preparing for the upcoming school year with campus maintenance and updates, teacher in-service trainings, pre-planning, and prayers over all the exciting adventures to come.

 

Welcome packets for the 2024-25 school year were mailed on Friday, August 2nd and a welcome e-mail was sent the same day. Your packet will include a letter from your child’s teachers and various other important forms. The following items were sent digitally and are also linked below:

 






Information and flyers about After School Enrichments will be sent in a separate email.

PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION


We have an incredible Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and everyone is encouraged to get involved! It is a wonderful way to make friends and and it will enrich both your and your child’s experiences at school. Our PTO President is Alice Maguire and Vice President is Maura Gillon. They are looking forward to helping you get plugged into our school community!


The PTO puts on 12 events each school year and there are many opportunities to get involved in both small and big ways. At the start of the school year look out for sign ups for event committees, teacher appreciation, and Room Parents.

Thursday, August 22nd – Parent Open House, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

 

Thursday, August 22nd – Parents’ Night Out, immediately following Open House at the bar at Hamilton’s Kitchen, Alfond Inn. Light bites will be served.

 

Friday, August 23rd – Meet the Teacher, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

 

Saturday, August 24th – Popsicles in the Park, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

 

Monday, August 26th – First Day of School

 

Wednesday, September 4th – Welcome Back Coffee, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. (after drop-off) in the Mary Martha Parlor.



PARENT OPEN HOUSE | THURSDAY, AUGUST 22


Parent Open House will begin in the Church at 6:00 p.m. We will open with prayer, worship, and the blessing of our beloved teachers before hearing from our school Director, Emory Messeroff. There will be an introduction of teachers and staff, a word from Rev. Lo, and an overview of important information for the upcoming school year. Afterward, from 6:30 to 7:30, you will visit your child(ren)'s classroom(s).


Arrive any time after 5:30 p.m. and be sure to stop into the Thomas Center (gym) at some point in the evening to learn more about the PTO and After School Enrichments!
