We had a phenomenal showing during this year's annual Big Give. At the end of the day, after all gifts were accounted for, we had a grand total of $42,606 with 220 families participating. Great Hearts San Antonio finished first overall, amongst 413 nonprofits city wide that participated, with a grand total of $274,912 and over 1400 families participating.
Thank you to all of our families who participated during the Big Give and continue to participate in our Community Investment campaign. We cannot do the work we do, without your continued support.

Parents, we know you have a lot of things to do every morning to get your scholar prepared for the school day.
Something very important is to help them remember to bring a filled water bottle to school every day.
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, help prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.

GHFH Lost & Found rack is located in the hallway behind the receptionist desk, just inside the
back door exiting to the playground.
- Parents and caregivers are advised to clearly label students’ belongings with the student’s first and last name. Regular checks of items are necessary to ensure the name is still visible.
- Items typically placed in the Lost & Found include: backpacks, bags, sweaters, jackets, belts, water bottles, lunch boxes, food containers, masks and hair accessories.
- All labeled items will be returned to the owner.
-
The PSO website now has a Lost & Found page.
-
Unlabeled items will be tagged and date stamped each Friday. Updated photos of those items can be viewed each Friday on the PSO website, Lost & Found page, by clicking "Unlabeled Items."
-
Unlabeled items that remain in the Lost & Found by the fourth Friday will be donated to the school Spirit Store for resale. Updated photos of those items nearing donation can be viewed each Friday on the PSO website, Lost & Found page, by clicking "Last Call Items."
- Students can look through the Lost & Found for missing items at any time during the school day with permission from their teacher.
-
If you recognize any pictured unlabeled item, please email Cheryl Laurie at [email protected] with a detailed description of the item and full name of the student the item belongs to, so that item can be returned to the appropriate student.
