AESA Foundation Needs Your Help
The AESA Foundation supports innovation, research and development,
and the programs of the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA). Like so many things, their major fundraising was disrupted by the pandemic.

We are very grateful to so many who have already donated over $6,600.00 to fund the programs that mean so much to members of ESAs.

Our goal of $10,000 is within reach! Will you please help? Thank you!

We'll kick off our Summer Leadership Conference on Tuesday evening with a Welcome Reception at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel!

Wednesday, July 21
We'll discover new pathways as we discuss how ESAs are:
  • Forging Remarkable Pathways to Build a Resilient Future
  • Executing COVID Recovery Implementation Plans

Then, we'll tour Region 10, participate in Learning on Location in fantastic spaces, and enjoy a networking dinner at El Fenix in the downtown Dallas area.

Thursday, July 22
Meet the 2020-21 Cohort of the AESA Executives in Residence program who will demonstrate a new free resource from AESA: The Continuity Planning Toolkit for ESAs.

Then, participate in the popular "unconference" format. You pick the topics and the conversation! This is a great way to wrap up the conference before you head home.
Member Spotlight: State Associations
Did you know that there are 13 states with formal state associations led by a part- or full-time executive director? Some of these states also have staff members that coordinate statewide initiatives. These state leaders are happy to share information with you about their organization and why it is advantageous to have a statewide association. Congratulations to Connecticut and New Mexico on their new statewide networks this year! You can learn more about statewide associations by visiting the AESA State Associations webpage.

Most AESA members have networks to meet with their statewide colleagues on a regular basis. It is important for these networks to collaborate and commit to working together through good and challenging times. The regional nature of your work is important to ESAs throughout the country. Collaborating to provide equity for all students across your state is essential!
