Volunteer at Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU)
The Social Action Committee is looking for volunteers for the YOU shelter for youth. Donation-sorting volunteers are needed to sort and laundry clothing donations. Shifts are Mondays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. This role does not require a vulnerable sector check since you will not be interacting with youth unsupervised.
Kitchen volunteers are also needed to assist the shelter chef with food preparation, organizing food donations and assisting with meal clean-up and service. A vulnerable sector check is required for this role. Shifts are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. One volunteer is required per shift for each role. Volunteers do not need to come in every week, but this is a reoccurring position.

Shuttle Bus Schedule
The shuttle bus schedule will be delayed until Monday, January 10. With classes going virtual until January 31, the shuttle will run on the exam schedule (Monday - Friday) until this date.
