Prayer:
Almost half of the country's 17 million residents live below the poverty line with an unemployment rate over 75%. Join us in asking for God's provision to help the Church to respond to those in need.

Join us in thanking God for the rich diversity of this region, which includes 200 ethnic groups and 120 different languages and dialects.
Prayer:
Join us in prayer for peace and comfort for the convention and its churches as they continue to grieve the death of several key leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please also join us in prayer for the people of Mali, Mauritania, and Niger.
14th Baptist Women's Union of Africa Continental Conference

This week BWA Women Executive Director J. Merritt Johnston will be serving alongside BWUA President Marthe Nguime Ekollo and women from across the continent of Africa at the 14th Baptist Women’s Union of Africa Continental Conference. This event only happens once every five years and represents the first time to gather on this scale since the COVID-19 pandemic. Would you join us in prayer for the Lord's blessings upon this time of worship, prayer, fellowship, and planning?
God at Work Around the World

The Baptist World Alliance is currently helping sponsor a summer camp for 210 foster children in Moldova.

A Prayer for Peace

God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Eternal God,
we pray in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, for Mali, Chad, Niger, Mauritania and Burkina Faso.
We know that in our part of the world some people are getting carried away by hatred – people who are unable to think clearly, and turn furiously on the people whom you have placed in this part of the world to enjoy your creation and witness to you. We pray for girls and boys, women and men, children and adults, and the elderly, for you to grant them peace, your peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, change the hearts of all those who are carried away by hatred, that they may find in you the Hope of Salvation, and that they may become messengers of peace for ever.    
We thank you, Lord, for you are faithful to your promise.
Glory and praise be given to you forever and ever.
Amen.
