WP Swimmers Compete in Olympic Trials
Claire Weinstein, (at left ) a 14-year-old from White Plains, is the youngest woman ever to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials. Claire did remarkably well at the just concluded trials in Omaha, placing 20th in the 400 Free, 28th in the 200 Free and 34th in the 800 Free.
Meanwhile 13-year old White Plains swimmer Alexa Reyna (at right), who holds U.S. and French citizenship, competed in the French Olympic Trials in Chartres, France.
