Greetings!
Happy August! Well, it's happening, Back to School is here! Schools are starting up all over the state again. As we all adjust our routines for this transition into our new schedules, stress and anxiety can creep in. I can't think of a better tool to use during this time of transition than our yoga practice itself. We have added more classes to the schedule starting this week to offer more options to practice (in-person and online) as we lean into our new Fall schedules.
The recent uptick in Covid cases has brought about a recent update in CDC recommendations on mask wearing. We will continue to follow any State mandates and highly recommend that our students wear their masks during indoor classes unless they have a health condition that prevents them to do so. We will continue to offer a large portion of our classes live-streamed for those who prefer that format during this time. We must have compassion for one another and help to keep each other healthy and well. Our yoga practice off the mat is just as important as our Asana practice on the mat. Thank you in advance for your patronage and continued support of one another during this challenging time.
Starting this month and every month after we will be highlighting one of our amazing instructors and a charity that is close to their heart in our MONTHLY KARMA YOGA Series. We will be bringing awareness about many of the amazing charities that help out our communities in so many ways. This month we would like to introduce you to Calysta Camp. Calysta joined the Mi Vida Yoga community back in 2018 after graduating the Yoga Teacher Training here at MVY. Take a look below for more info on Calysta and her charity choice below. We look forward to seeing you in the studio or online soon.
With Gratitude,
Heather
