POST YOUR ADOPT A COP GREEN SIGN TODAY!

The officers are thrilled they’ve been adopted and are encouraged when they see their names. If you have adopted a cop, POST YOUR SIGN IN THE WINDOW RIGHT NOW. Thank you, Hope of Hope's Bake Shop, for posting your sign right away.
Women owned businesses like Orient Auto Service, Inc. and Nanna's Place are participating in the Adopt-A-Cop program. There is still time to make a difference and be part of the community-wide event.
Educators in our community are participating. A school teacher in the Gresham-Barlow School District had her class write thank you notes to a police officer.

Metro East Web Academy has involved their entire school in the project.
Even without a building to post their sign, The Journey is participating in the Adopt-A-Cop program.

Nonprofits community-wide can show their support to law enforcement.

DON’T EAT GOURMET CHOCOLATE, SAVOR IT!
Like fine wine, chocolate needs some preparation to be fully enjoyed. Chocolate needs your warmth! Let a small piece melt under your tongue; give chocolate the chance to release all its aroma. Welcome to the gourmet world.

TRAVEL OREGON
CAR-FREE GETAWAY: Astoria and the North Coast

One of the coolest little towns on the Oregon Coast actually lies just inland from the ocean along a magnificent span of the Columbia River. If you’re a coastal lover, fear not: Hip and historic Astoria is an easy bus ride from the Pacific. This former trading hub and salmon-canning center has become a haven for painters, writers, history buffs, foodies and craft-beer lovers — so much so that plenty of folks seeking an active arts and culture scene but with a less-harried pace have relocated here in recent years.
