2022 MOD (Move or Die) - Aug 20

Course Summary:

The title of this course says it all: If you are not moving when an attack starts to unfold in front of you, when the dust settles that chalk outline on the ground in the shape of a body just might be yours.

Attacks happen quickly and you must be ready to react, this we know. However, we also know that, all else being equal, reaction will always be slower than action. So how do we give ourselves a fighting chance against the bad guy? By moving!!

Unfortunately, this is something that is easier said than done without practice. You know how people joke about having that “deer in the headlights” response to a situation? Well, when the stuff hits the fan and all heck breaks loose, if moving is not a practiced and learned skillset, that deer will be you and this is why all the rounds fired during this course will be done while moving.

We'll talk about some of the signs to look for that may indicate an imminent strike from an attacker, we will demonstrate how to move off that line of attack, and we will cover methods of moving that will offer the best chance for your survival. Shooting techniques will be demonstrated that use your body’s natural reactions to successfully get rounds on the threat.

Remember, if an attack happens on the street, it will be a gun fight not target shooting, and if you're not currently incorporating movement in your training routine, this course will be a real eye-opener to its importance.

About the Instructors/Venue:

E.A.S.T. (Environmental Assessment and Solutions Training) Group:

E.A.S.T. Group was established by a group of professionals with a specific mission in mind: To assist individuals and organizations with the resources needed to map out a realistic training program and provide solutions to operate in today's ever- changing environment.

Our cadre of instructors have the knowledge and experience gained from decades of working within the security realms both here and abroad which allows our students to immerse themselves in real world, up-to-date exercises.

Our training methodology is unique due to our personal experiences which is why our company mantra “Bullets are Inbound” is the basis for all our training. This mindset allows for a vast mixture of “Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures” to tailor a training solution that meets the needs of our clientele.

E.A.S.T. Group's training facility is set up to allow students to run realistic training based on how our mind and bodies react when put under stress which enables the armed civilians to use that to their advantage instead of it being used against them.
