June Field Exercise Report

Graduate students from George Mason University, American University, and UMass Boston completed a four-day, full-immersion simulation in June.


Said one participant, “There is no academic book that can ever teach what I have learned about humanitarian work during this experience. I can confidently say that participating in this exercise was the most magnificent experience in my study of conflict analysis and resolution.” READ MORE

Annual Peacebuilding Seminar Dates Announced

Educators and students are invited to the 10th Annual National Community College Peacebuilding Seminar, to be held October 28-29, November 4-5, and November 11-12, 2022. Land Acknowledgement

The land of the Forage Center's training facility in Western Maryland was once the traditional home of the Massawomek and other Indigenous people.


We are grateful to live, educate, and work here. As part of our commitment to honoring the Massawomek and other Indigenous people, we donated 10% of our June 2022 Immersion Simulation program net revenue to the Native American Rights Fund.
