OCTOBER 2021 | Volume 46 | Issue 10
SATURDAY . OCTOBER 2ND . 8:45AM - NOON
The Vista Challenge takes place at Plum Creek Christian Church on Saturday, October 2nd from 8:45am to Noon. Registration is free! The purpose of this event is to give everyone a broader view (vista) of the world from God's perspective. Throughout the morning, we'll hear from five speakers on five topics. Along the way, we will learn how we can be involved in what God is doing in the world. Be ready to be ruined for the ordinary!

CURRENT SERIES
We all have friends who are asking tough questions. It’s not always easy to answer those questions. In fact, there are often times when we’re the ones asking the tough questions. For several weeks, we’re looking to the Bible for answers on several important issues related to God, Christianity, faith, and just life in general.

The Sharing Center is a great way to get involved in serving our neighbors here at Plum Creek. Each month we provide groceries for up to 80 families. As you can imagine, shopping, sorting, and distributing groceries for that many people is a lot of work! We need more help on Sharing Center Saturdays to get the job done. It's also a great way to meet our neighbors and share the good news of Jesus.

The Sharing Center takes place on the 3rd Saturday of each month. In October we meet on Saturday, October 16th. We have a shortage of "hosts" to meet our guests and help them to their car with groceries. This takes place between
8:45 AM and 11:15 AM. Please consider joining us on Saturday, October 16th at 8:45 AM. This is a great way for families to serve together!
EVANGELISM CLASS
Everyone is welcome to join us as we host Matthew and Christen Jacobs on Sunday mornings 10/10 and 10/17 at 9:30 AM in the LifeCenter. Matt and Christen lead a ministry called Sow Cincy in Avondale. Their mission is to equip everyone to sow seeds for God's Kingdom. They will be training us to 1) clearly articulate a simple gospel message to others and 2) to tell our own personal testimony. Matt and Christen are so much fun! This interactive class will be helpful and energizing. The class is part of PC Academy, but everyone is welcome to attend. Oh... and we have donuts!

This lunch is for anyone at PCCC age 55+ who wants to make a difference in God's kingdom and have fun along the way. We'll enjoy a catered lunch from Lou Lou's Cafe and music by the Ball family Quartet.
COST: $5
