Parsha Talk
Who do you think a teacher is more likely to feel good about helping: a student who simply says "I don't get it" and shows no effort, or a student who explains "I tried these three methods and made some progress, but I'm now stuck as to how to proceed further?" Find out how this question connects to this week's parsha, Terumah.

Color Your World With:
HAPPINESS! Chodesh Adar, the month where we celebrate Purim, is known as the happiest month of the year! In fact, its motto is MiShenichnas Adar Marbim BeSimcha "when Adar comes, joy is increased." Students enjoyed bringing in the new month with division-wide Hallel, music, singing, and dancing. Everyone is excited to see what this month will bring.

Every week a student from each one of Mrs. Gelman's 7th–12th grade classes writes an original haiku about the parsha and a Dvar Torah about the Haftorah.
This week's H & H covering Parshat Terumah features Jacob Kupferman (11), Ari Rosenzweig (7), and Ari Meckley (7). Click here for some parsha inspiration you can share at your Shabbat table.
