WADA WISH WEEK

Luther Knight Athletics, along with the Wisconsin Athletic Director’s Association (WADA), will be helping raise funds for the Wisconsin Make-A-Wish foundation during WADA’s Wish Week (November 28-December 3).   At our two home games (Nov 29 vs. Aquinas and Dec 2 vs. West Salem), fans will have the opportunity to donate money in support of the Wisconsin Make-A-Wish foundation at each game.  If you are unable to attend and would like to make a contribution, please use this link: Make-A-Wish Donation.   At a recent WADA conference, your state athletic directors donated $1500 toward the $10,000 goal.  During the WADA Wish Week, schools from across the state of Wisconsin will band together to raise funds for this organization.   Please contact the athletic office with any questions.

HOST FAMILY NEEDED

Luther High School has an international student program. Currently, we have a young man from Nigeria who is a junior at Luther High School. We also have an opportunity to host a female student from Vietnam for the second semester. She is a junior. She would arrive in America between January 12 through 14. For a short FAQ on the host family experience, please click this link. Families that are interested in serving in this unique way can contact Principal Phil Punzel at punzphil@luther.k12.wi.us.
