2024 Tubes and Trainings Complete in Maryland


The Maryland Grain Producers Utilization Board funded three new Grain Bin Rescue Tubes with trainings and a joint-training at the Maryland Commodity Classic this year. With the help of other agricultural partners, there are 80 rescue tubes in close proximity to Maryland grain farmers. Read more and find your nearest tube online here.

Install A Grass Buffer on ShoreRivers


Farmers and agricultural landowners in the Chester watershed (Kent and Queen Anne’s counties) are eligible to take advantage of a new grass buffer and grasslands program through ShoreRivers. In partnership with the Delmarva Restoration and Conservation Network and generous funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, we’re currently able to provide technical assistance, flexible width buffers, and incentive payments for those who participate. The Delaware Farm Bureau is now accepting applications for its 2025 summer internship program. College students interested in gaining hands-on experience in agriculture while developing their advocacy and leadership skills are encouraged to apply by December 31st. Learn more here.

Farm Credit Foundation Scholarship


The Farm Credit Foundation for Agricultural Advancement is awarding at least 20 scholarships, each valued up to $10,000, to students dedicated to pursuing a career in agriculture. Applications are now being accepted until January 3rd. Read the full press release online here.

Maryland Grain Producers Scholarship


The 2025 scholarship is now live! The Maryland Grain Producers has increased funding to the next generations, funding up to $20,000 in scholarships for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Applications are due by January 15th. Learn more about our scholarship online here!

CDL Grant


The 2025 application is currently open and will close on January 15th! The Maryland Grain Producers voted to fund two grantees with a $2,000 grant. These funds will be sent to the recipient after they have obtained their license. Apply online here.

Mid-Atlantic Certified Crop Adviser Scholarship


The Mid-Atlantic Certified Crop Advisers are opening their 2025 scholarship application for undergraduate students working towards a degree in agriculture. Preference will be given to students interested in crop science/agronomy. The board agreed to fund up to $1,500 in scholarship funding for the 2025 school year. Applications are due January 31st, learn more here.

National Corn Growers Association Scholarship


The National Corn Growers Association is excited to announce the launch of its Fall 2025 Scholarship Program, aimed at supporting students pursuing educational opportunities in agriculture and related fields. Applications are now open and will close on January 31st. Learn more online here.
