Sugar Creek Bible Camp

November 2024

We are truly grateful for the beautiful and sunny Monday that God graced us with for the Sugar Creek Annual Golf Fundraiser! The air was filled with joy and laughter as teams of four navigated the 18-holes at Viroqua Hills Golf Course. A heartfelt thank you to event coordinators Bob Severson and Gary Vance. Brothers Paul and Tom Samson, as well as Bob and Sally Severson prepared a scrumptious and filling meal that allowed us to gather in fellowship after a day of friendly competition.

Deepest thanks for the generous sponsorship, prize and participation support. We are thrilled to share that the event grossed over $11,000, with all profits dedicated to providing "camperships" for youth in need of financial assistance to attend Bible camp. Your support truly makes a difference!

What a 'quilt-tastic' day it was at the Annual Quilt Auction and Fall Festival! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stitched together this wonderful event with your generous donations of beautiful quilts, hand made wood crafts, delightful silent auction baskets, country store items, and scrumptious pies.

Despite a little rain trying to dampen our spirits at the start, it was clear that nothing could stop the 5K Fun Run and Walk participants, spirited volunteers, or steadfast bidders and supporters. The delicious meal of pulled pork and homemade pies kept us all in high spirits and fueled up!

One of the most heartwarming moments was witnessing a young bidder’s excitement as he (with the help of Mom) finally snagged the quilt he had been eyeing!

We are grateful for each and every one of you who made this day a success and we can’t wait to see you next year!

This summer at Sugar Creek Bible Camp, our incredible counselors and campers explored the theme of "Created to Be," embracing God's unconditional love for us! Through exciting team-building games, campfire cooking, fun-filled crafts, and horseback rides, each of these activities were filled with joy and laughter. The summer staff worked to create sacred spaces where every youth felt not just welcomed, but truly wanted.

"Village night" was introduced this summer. It's an exciting evening where each program has its own special event, such as rodeo games or indulging in root beer floats.
