SANDWICH SUNDAY &
DIAPER DONATION
This Sunday, December 4, St. Bernardine's Justice and Peace Committee will be collecting bagged meals, socks, and blankets for our Sandwich Sunday Collection for the Family Rescue Center. We are also collecting donations of diapers to be delivered to the West Valley Food Pantry. The greater need is for larger size diapers, but any size is gratefully accepted. Thanks for your continued support.

FIRST FRIDAY MASS & LUNCHEON
Friday, December 2
Please join us this Friday, December 2, for the First Friday Luncheon. The First Friday Mass is at 11:30 AM in the Chapel followed by a handmade lunch in the Parish Hall.
Be social and meet friends! There is no charge but please bring a food donation item for the Guadalupe Center. Lastly, we are still looking for volunteers. If interested, please contact Janey at (818) 570-1144.

ADOPT A FAMILY 2022
This Christmas, St. Bernardine will again join other area parishes and participate in the Catholic Charities Guadalupe Community Center Adopt A Family Program. Over the past 32 years, St. Bernardine parishioners have shared the joy of Christmas with less fortunate families in our community. Justice and Peace Committee volunteers will be available after all the Masses the weekends of December 11 and 18 to provide information and accept donations of money or toys. Approximately 300 families are currently registered to receive gift cards and toys. Please consider donating early.

ADVENT PENANCE SERVICE
We will hold a Penance Service on Tuesday, December 13th, from 7-8 PM in the church for those wishing to make confession. We will also extend the time of our Saturday Confessions on December 17th to 9AM - 10:30AM. Please note: there will be no confessions on Saturday, December 24th.

SIMBANG GABI

Are you being called to "Confirm" your Catholic faith?
If you are over 18 years old and have been baptized and received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist but have not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation, we offer the Adult Confirmation Process.
Please come to our information/orientation meeting on Tuesday night, January 10, 2023 form 7-9PM in the Parish Hall. We will discuss our multi-session adult spiritual journey which will prepare you to be confirmed here at St. Bernardine in April 2023.

St Bernardine Parish invites you to make a gift of a Christmas poinsettia this season dedicated to the memory of or in thanksgiving for loved ones. The plants will adorn our worship space during the holiday season. A contribution of $15 is asked for each 6" tribute (note: there are 8 larger 24" plants at a cost of $80 each, first come, first serve). MEMORIAL TABLE PICTURES
Just a reminder that the pictures of your loved ones on our church Memorial Table must be picked up by Wednesday, November 30th after the 8:30AM Mass. Pictures not picked up will be in
our Parish Office.
MEMORIAL MASS CANDLES
We also still have several Memorial Mass candles from our All Souls Mass that have not been picked up. The deadline to pick up the candles is Wednesday, November 30th in our Parish Office. Our office is open Monday-Friday, 9AM -4PM, and closed for lunch 12-1PM. Thank you.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE PROCESSION
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles will host the 91st Annual Procession and Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in East Los Angeles on Sunday, December 4th. The festivities will begin at 10:30AM, at the corner of Cesar Chavez Ave. and Ford Blvd., with indigenous dance groups, mariachi and faithful from throughout the Archdiocese. The procession will conclude at the East Los Angeles College Stadium at 1PM with a Mass presided by Archbishop Jose H. Gomez. All are welcome to this beautiful and historic tribute to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
