Read-A-Thon: Starting Soon!

Each year, the HPS PTO organizes a Read-A-Thon to help raise money for our school. It's one of our most important fundraisers of the year and so much fun for the kids! The entire school will participate in a contest to see which team of students can read the most. In addition to the reading contest, there will be additional activities for students to participate in. More info is coming soon, below are initial details:


Book Drive: Sep 23-27 (bring loved books from home, donate to Queen City Book Bank!)

Read-A-Thon Starts: Sep 30

Book Fair: Oct 14-18

Limited Spots Remaining: Sign Up for Glow Golf!

Join your fellow HPS parents for a fun night of glow golf. This is a unique, fun social event where we provide the beer, glow-in-the-dark golf balls, prizes, and more! 


We will play a 6-person scramble so no golf experience is necessary, our goal is to have fun and spend time with other HPS parents!


Tickets are $50 per person, which includes the course greens fee, glow ball, and beer. Last day to register is this Tuesday. Limited spots remaining - sign up now!

Walnut Hills Fall Athletics: Elementary Nights

Walnut Hills Athletics is sponsoring a fun opportunity to get two free tickets for your kids to cheer on the WHHS Varsity Teams. One per elementary child and one per parent.

PTO Budget Update

The 2024-2025 PTO budget was reviewed and approved at last week's PTO General Meeting. Thanks to the generosity of our HPS family community, we expect to raise $102,250 through all of our fundraising activities. The plan is to spend nearly every penny on our students, staff and school (including field trips, student events, classroom supply needs, scholarships, DEI funding, etc.).

The HPS PTO offers a variety of after-school enrichment opportunities. There are so many options for all Grades K-6, including Yoga, Cooking Class, Gymnastics, Karate and much more! Visit our information page to learn more and register your kids. We hope to see them there!


Home Base Extracurricular Opportunity

Home Base is a Jewish after school care community for Grades K-6. Home Base provides Cincinnati families with high-quality, all-inclusive childcare after school.
