Here at CHL we are celebrating World Water Day, and are available to assist you in studying and managing groundwater resources. Dye tracing is a great tool to identify groundwater pathways in a variety of geologic settings. We also provide water quality sampling and hydrologic monitoring.

RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS

Congratulations to our 2022 Mahurin-Crawford Cave Research Fellows,

Ava Lich and Will Strehl!

Ava (top left) and Will (bottom right) form the first research team for this new undergraduate fellowship at WKU hosted by CHL and the Mahurin Honor's College. Their research will include aspects of geology, hydrology, and biology and take place in Mammoth Cave National Park.

Ms. Ava Lich is a freshman at WKU in the Honor's College and is pursing a triple major in biology, geology, and mathematics.

Mr. Will Strehl is also an Honor's College freshman and active member of the WKU Geology Club and Green River Grotto He is pursing a bachelors degree in geology.
