The DeForest Windsor Area Chamber, in partnership with the Village of Windsor, presents WindsorFest, an annual event that celebrates the community and its strong agricultural history! It is a wonderful event to enjoy a day of free family activities, with delicious food and live music! Fun for the whole family. This year we will have a classic tractor parade! Stuff the Bus & Brat Bust

The DeForest Windsor Lions Club's next event to help the community is Stuff the Bus on August 21st from 9am - 2pm. They will be collecting school supplies and cash donations to help school children in our area. The need is great!

The Lions will also be selling brats! All happening at Pick-N-Save, Deforest

WEDC Main Street Bounceback Grants
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation has launched a new grant program, Main Street Bounceback. The program provides $10,000 to new or existing businesses and non-profit organizations moving into vacant properties in Wisconsin’s downtowns and commercial corridors. Funds can be used to pay leases or mortgages, operational expenses and other business costs related to the newly opened location. The program is open to new or existing businesses opening a new location or expanding operations in a vacant commercial space as of January 1, 2021. Grant funds are available as part of the American Recovery Plan Act and will be distributed by WEDC’s regional partners. Businesses must apply through the partner organization for the region in which they are located.
 



Face Covering Emergency Order
Effective on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 12:01am, the Face Covering Emergency Order requires that everyone age 2 and older wear a face covering or mask when in any enclosed building where other people, except for members of the person’s own household or living unit, could be present. This requirement applies to all of Dane County.

The Ingleside Hotel – Pewaukee, WI
WMC’s premiere annual event – Business Day – will take place at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee on Oct. 14, 2021.
The event will feature political commentary, economic analysis and, of course, the crowning of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin winner! 

Featured speakers include: Fox News Contributor Guy Benson, BMO Capital Markets Michael Gregory and Supply Chain Expert Dr. Douglas Fisher.
