Hello District 29!

This is the first in a series that compares Senator Shower with Candidate Massie.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruit

Who supports a candidate indicates the candidate's true colors.

Senator Shower

Conservatives recognize each other, respect each other, and support one another as a team for the betterment of our state.

Senator Shelley Hughes, Senate Majority Leader

April 2022 statement made in reference to work on sexual crime legislation:

"Senator Shower is not only an asset to our Mat-Su Delegation, but he is a consistent, reliable conservative vote in the Senate and a team player in the legislature. He's a tough guy when he needs to be - and that's usually the side the public sees - but he also knows how to get down to brass tacks and work through to consensus with House and Senate members in a reasonable way to get sensible items across the finish line. I'm proud to work with him. He's a great colleague."

Candidate Massie

Moderate republicans and democrats are teaming up to support and vote for Massie.

A republican vs a democrat will give a republican the victory, but a conservative republican vs a moderate republican draws the democrat vote to the moderate. Consequently, with the new jungle primary, democrats do not need, nor do they have a candidate in our Senate race. They know a democrat cannot win in MatSu. Massie is their only hope.

Insiders know that moderate republican senators are plotting with democrats to create a bi-partisan majority in the senate to push conservative senators into the minority. I put a chart below about what happens when there is a bi-partisan senate.

I personally asked Massie if he would join a bi-partisan majority, and he looked away and did not answer. When I pressed him by asking again, he said he could not guarantee that he would not do that.

Union workers are donating to Massie's campaign, consequently Massie will get the union vote.

The Massie name is well established in the MatSu Valley. He is drawing on his family name for loyal family friends to support him. I challenge his supporters to look at the facts clearly before voting in November.

I personally verified with Massie that former republican house member, Chuck Kopp, is on Massie's campaign team. In 2018 Rep Kopp voted for democrat Bryce Edgmon as Speaker of the House, giving full control to democrats. Rep Edgmon tried to provide cover for Rep Kopp by quickly switching his voter registration from democrat to unaffiliated just before the vote. Chuck Kopp also fought hard against the repeal of SB91 - the crime bill.

Charisse Millette endorses Massie. She is a former moderate legislator who, before she stepped down, advocated for a reduced PFD

Massie's website describes the PFD exactly how democrats and moderates describe it. Words like 'responsible' and 'sustainable' are clues. They use those words to fool people into thinking that giving out a normal PFD is irresponsible, and that the PFD may vanish. Both of those things are false narratives.

Words matter. From Massie's website:

DONATE

Please consider donating to District 29, so we can help Senator Shower by communicating candidate differences.

We cannot afford to replace our conservative senator with a moderate.

This chart illustrates what happened to the state budget

when a bi-partisan senate was in control 2007-2012.

Before 2006 the budget normally remained flat.

Election Info

Rank the Red!

In the primary, we voted for one person.

The top 4 vote-getters will move on to the general election.

In the upcoming general election, you will rank up to 4 candidates.

The winning strategy is to 'Rank the Red'.

In other words, rank ALL republican candidates to ensure a republican victory.

Leaving any of them out will give the left / democrats an edge toward winning.

Note: Lisa Murkowski is a democrat.
