Basic Arati Ceremony:
An Arati Ceremony is a short, basic ceremony usually lasting anywhere between 3-5 minutes. “Arati” means “to offer the light,” and consists of waving the small light (flame) of the soul before the large light of the Supreme Being or Transcendental Purusha. We recognize that we are connected to and part of a larger being. By performing a short ceremony, which has remained intact and pure for thousands of years, you can commune with one of the most powerful and sustaining rituals ever created. While practicing these ceremonies you are not only receiving the benefits but are actively contributing to its further evolution.

Summer Walking Meditation
Medicine for the soul, by Raji
Take some time during your day to practice!
Kiss the Earth with your feet. In a place of nature, preferably barefoot, take a slow, mindful walk (suggested time 10-15 minutes). First, be aware of the soles of your feet touching the Earth. Walk slow enough to feel the heels, balls of the feet, toes, sides of the feet. Slow down. Then, pay close attention to your surroundings. The trees, sky, flowers, birds, sounds. Feel the breeze, sun, temperature of the air. Breathe and relax.
