Fall Business Leaders Breakfast

Business Leaders gathered at The Mather in Tysons to celebrate our growing public and private partnerships across Virginia.

Representatives from from TD Bank, Dominion Energy, John Marshall Bank, Cox Communications and more spent time learning about our mission and model.

Former Virginia Secretary of Education, Jim Dyke, and VA Senator Dick Saslaw kicked off the event with opening remarks of support.

The event celebrated the launch of the fifth year of our successful tutoring program, which will serve 650 students, with each receiving 60 sessions of targeted tutoring this school year.

* SOL test increase from 28% in 2023 (before tutoring) to 70% state- accredited growth in 2024

* Expansion to Richmond Public Schools in Fall 2024

* Over 300 college tutors from 14 Virginia colleges and universities
