NEW! NaTakallam
This is such a cool new opportunity open to DC classrooms! NaTakallam ("We Speak" in Arabic) connects forcibly displaced persons and refugees with language and cultural exchange students around the world, providing them with economic opportunity, purpose, and re-gained dignity. To date, NaTakallam K-12 Programs have served over 120 schools and over 4000 students in 13 countries. Sessions can be implemented in Arabic, English, Spanish, or a blend of two languages, allowing learners of any level to interact with and learn from Syrians, Iraqis, and Venezuelans who fled their countries due to conflict.
