July/August Issue of Clinics, Shows and more
Well the wet spring has turned into a dry and at times a hot summer. While it has been slightly quieter than May and June there is always something to do on the farm like making hay, lots of hay. For the first time Dave has been making his beautiful alfalfa fields into dry square bales. Check out the ad below. Entries close tomorrow (July 11) for the July 31st Mini Trials and Eric Dierks is coming next weekend check out the updates below.

We also hosted the NODA Dressage and More Camp the end of June. It was a wonderful experience for all who attended. I had the pleasure of teaching some of the participants on the Trail course. If anyone is interested in renting the facility of a competition, clinic or just lessons contact me.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Entries are to be submitted electronically and pre-registration is required. The July & August activities are featured in this newsletter. The buttons below will take you to links for more information and how to sign up to school or more information on the various competitions or clinics.

Open Schooling Days

We love sharing our farm with all of you but it has been decided to change the way the schooling days are run. Cross Country schooling of the competition course is now limited to the 2 days before the Mini Trials, the Wednesday after competitions, for clinics and lessons. This is being done so we can monitor the schooling better for the safety of the horses and riders, for preserving the fences and the ground for competitions and for the integrity of the sport. The Derby Field which has banks, ditches, water and portable fences will be open for schooling on open schooling days.  The dressage arenas, show jumping ring and the trail course are available as usual.

For those who want to school before the Mini Trials, which is open to all, can register HERE. The Wednesday schooling will use the regular schooling day sign up.

We now request the following:
  • pre-register using the Sign Up Genius to sign up for schooling. The sign up will be updated each Monday and will only offer 1 week at a time. Please read the sign up form carefully as it has a lot of important information on it.
  • when signing up please list a ground person for jumping activities
  • indicate what time you will will be arriving
  • text me when you arrive @ 330-277-6964
  • sign in (the sign in sheet is located by the lock box which is for payments for those who didn't pay on line)

Finally, if you see anything that needs our attention, please let us know. If you are responsible for the damage, you are responsible for fixing or replacing what was damaged!
