As we head into February we have moved a class into the first of the month because of Snow. I hope that you have stayed warm and you are getting your health into good shape. Seems like many have been sick for a while and I just pray that you get better soon and stay healthy. My knee is doing great at 8 weeks and I'm getting around great now.
This month brings a class (now two) into this month along with the quilt show in Hampton, VA. If you want to travel down with my group I need to know if you need a ride and I'm also looking for a few drivers. We will meet at my studio at 8:30 AM and return between 3 and 4 PM. It all depends on how good the show is as to how long we stay there.
I am also helping a friend collect quilts for the families who lost everything from the fires in Colorado. Over 1100 families were affected. I have donated a few myself. So as you look around your stash, if you have one or two that you would like to donate, please bring them to my studio and I will get them to Bonnie. She has already mailed about 50 to the area. This is just like our Wilmington collection. So please help with this cause. I would need those by February 14th. Any size will be welcomed.
I'm still taking names for anyone who wants to participate in the block exchange or the Union Block group. We still have time before these start.
Make sure you check out all the exciting things that can be yours if you want!
So until you see me in person, Keep on sewing and I will see you soon.
