Sign Up for NAR's Military Relocation Professional Certification Course

When military staff and their families relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables make the transfer easier, faster, and less stressful.


The Military Relocation Professional Certification Course educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.


To earn the MRP certification, REALTORS®

must complete a few basic requirements:


  1. Be in good standing with NAR®
  2. Complete the one-day MRP Certification course,
  3. Complete two one-hour webinars, and
  4. Submit a certification application and a one-time fee of $195.00


Mark Given Seminars is coming to Fayetteville on April 21st to teach this course at Longleaf Pine REALTORS® from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This is an opportunity to serve not only your community and clientele better but also your country.

Candidates Training Academy Happening at Longleaf Pine REALTORS® This Friday

On Friday, April 14th, 2023 the Longleaf Pine REALTORS® Office will be hosting NAR® Speaker and Campaign Services Manager John Winston to learn the skills necessary to run for public office. Seating is limited and breakfast will be

2024 NAR® Committee Application Website Now Open through May 15th

It's that time of year again! The 2024 NAR committee application website is now open through May 15. Now is your chance to make your voice heard and help shape the future of our Association! Please consider applying for a 2024 committee and encourage other members to apply as well. See here for a special message from 2024 President Tracy Kasper and 2024 President-elect Kevin Sears! 


Please note: Current committee

members whose terms expire in 2023 must submit an application to be considered for service in 2024. Those with continuing terms through 2024 do not need to reapply unless seeking reassignment. In addition, members will only receive one appointment per NAR policy.

The Next PWC Day is to Be Held on May 4th, 2023

The next PWC Day will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023.


Fayetteville is one of over 2,000 communities in the US that have the benefit of being served by a

municipally-owned/public power provider. In fact, the Fayetteville Public Works Commission is the 37th largest public power provider in the country. PWC services are essential and touch most homes and businesses throughout Cumberland County and are a major factor in economic development.


PWC Day is an action-packed day that includes tours of our Generation and Water Plants and an up-close look at power restoration, water utility system maintenance, PWC’s customer call center, emergency operations, and new initiatives that will impact utility services. Below is more information. I hope you will share!


Details:

•            Starting Location: 955 Old Wilmington Road

•            Time: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm

•            Transportation: Provided

•            Lunch: Provided

•            Dress: Business casual- for safety & comfort, please wear flat,

closed-toe, comfortable shoes as we will be touring plants.

Government Affairs Update

Angie Hedgepeth, Government Affairs Director for the Association, attends all the local meetings each month, as well as NAR® and NCAR® meetings, and keeps members abreast of the multiple issues being addressed in local, state, and national government.
