We need your input!

We've begun an intentional process to develop a plan to guide Immanuel over the next 3 - 5 years, and we invite your input at one of two Focus Groups:

1) In-person session: Sunday, October 10, 12 - 1 p.m. (Light lunch provided)

Holly Janz, mezzo-soprano, and Michael Keller, piano, collaborate in a program that features Edvard Grieg’s masterpiece Haugtussa Op. 67, based on Arne Garborg’s epic poem cycle.  It details the trials of shepherdess, Veslemøy, and her struggle between this world and that of the spirits.

Also presented is a rarely-heard song set from Spanish composer María Rodrigo, as well as songs from Irving Berlin and William Bolcom.

The Lutheran Social Service Refugee Resettlement Team is working hard to meet Afghan refugee families’ basic needs when they arrive in Minnesota. The biggest need currently is financial support.
