Inviting all boos and ghouls to float on down to Main Street for some Halloween trick-or-treating! Downtown Mesa merchants are handing out individually wrapped candy from 11:00am to 3:00pm - or until all candy is claimed! Stop by the Kids Corner at N Macdonald and Main Street to participate in seasonal arts and crafts, take photos in the photo booths, and recover from sugar rushes. Costumes are highly encouraged for the whole family. Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bag!

Is chicken more your speed? Try the Poultry Geist! Feeling adventurous? Order the Aw Nuts! No meat? No problem! Beyond burger is available upon request.

Introducing the Great Honey Bee Hunt

Something is a-buzz in Downtown Mesa! Honey Bees swarmed down to explore -- they heard hanging flower baskets were coming soon -- and got distracted by our shops and restaurants! Help the Hive find all the bees so they can make their way home. Fill out a game card (available to download below) with every bee you see. The more bees you find, the better the raffle you can enter into! Raffles are for Downtown Mesa Gift Cards, from $10 to $200, and include one of the bees for each winner!

Beer & Bones Lite: Science Cafe Pub Strut

The Arizona Museum of Natural History wants you to know that Beer & Bones is back!

In prior years, Beer & Bones was the annual after-hours fundraiser featuring samples from local brewers (Beer) and behind the scenes tours of the museum (Bones). Because safety is a top priority, this year the museum is hosting a "lite" version of this beloved annual event and taking the party outside!

Visit the outdoor patios of participating businesses Oro Brewing Company (210 W Main St), Chupacabra Taproom (14 N Robson), Cider Corps (31 S Robson), The Organic Bean Cafe (40 N Macdonald), Desert Eagle Brewing Company (150 W Main St), Novel Ice Cream (40 N Macdonald), and 12 West Brewing (12 W Main St) for this NON-TICKETED EVENT. Beer & Bones Lite: Science Cafe Pub Strut will feature a variety of guests at each location, including paleontologists, geologists, archaeologists, and space scientists, each giving casual tabletop talks about their research.

Public Open House for the Reopening of the Mesa Temple (Plus Free Shuttle)

Originally built in the 1920s, the Mesa Temple is hosting a once in a lifetime public open house where visitors can tour the renovated temple prior to its rededication. Following the five-week-long open house, tours will no longer be available.

Enjoy exquisite art, inspiring murals, majestic architecture and handcrafted woodwork. Tours are free, and all are invited, however reservations are strongly encouraged.

Swing by Downtown Mesa after your tour for fun local specials and activities available during this time! Take advantage of the FREE SHUTTLE from 10:00am to 6:00pm on October 16.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

Mesa Arts Center is pleased to celebrate Dia de los Muertos with an annual festival event created in collaboration with the community. As part of this event, special community altars will be installed throughout Downtown Mesa in storefront windows.
