Dear Congregants,
I wish to advise you of changes in the composition of our Board of Directors and officers. Pursuant to the congregation’s bylaws, the Board of Directors held a special meeting on June 29 to fill the vacancies resulting from the resignations of four directors and three officers who had been elected to their positions for a one-year term in January at the annual membership meeting.
The Board of Directors elected Mark Schleifstein, Bobby Garon, Henry Weber, and Leslie Fischman to serve for the unexpired term of the four directors who resigned. To serve for the unexpired term of the three officers who resigned, the Board elected Ed Golden as Executive Vice-President, Julie Finkelstein Steinhaus as Ritual Vice-President, and Leslie Fischman as Education Vice-President.
On behalf of the entire congregation, I want to thank Mark, Bobby, Henry, Leslie, Ed and Julie for agreeing to serve. We are truly grateful to have such outstanding candidates step into leadership roles.
