Eclipse Director Hired to Kick Off the Official Planning Efforts!
Local artist Sarah Wolfe has been named as Knox County's Eclipse Director.
Wolfe will be responsible for organizing multiple events and logistical concerns up to and including the 3-day Eclipse Festival. "My goal as director is to ensure that this is a safe event that can also prove economically beneficial for our city and county," Wolfe said.

Wolfe will work in direct partnership with the Vincennes/Knox County Tourism Bureau and the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, county health department, EMA, city and county councils, mayors and nonprofits in planning for the "Dark Side of the Wabash".


New Hires/Promotions/Awards
Steve Beaman is the new Associate Director of Communications & Donor Relations with the VU Foundation. Steve is a graduate of Vincennes University and spent the last 16 years as Superintendent for the City Vincennes Parks Department.

Tyler Kroeger, from Burkhart Insurance, was recently awarded for his outstanding life insurance production with the Pekin's Gold Key Award and Inner Circle Club!

Total Resource Campaign
The Knox County Chamber's Total Resource Campaign is officially complete! Thank you to all of our volunteers, and the businesses who participated.

With the help of our amazing volunteers, we have recently met our set goal! The Knox County Chamber team is excited to welcome all of the new members that have joined during the TRC Campaign and cannot wait for our events in the upcoming year.

One of our volunteers, Cindi Daniels, says "The Total Resource Campaign creates an even playing field for all businesses - big and small. This program is an opportunity for all local business owners to connect with the regional community and participate in Chamber initiatives."
Knox's Spend-A-Day
The South Knox FACS Club is partnering with Vincennes/Knox County Visitor's Bureau to announce the Knox's Spend-A-Day!

These two groups have created a historical adventure, with a scavenger hunt around Indiana's First City! There are several opportunities to get involved with this project.
