As you are shopping this week, please add a few items for VEAP to your cart.

We have 4 collection bins at Normandale. Locations are:

  • the main office
  • hallway near lost & found
  • hallway near the media center/playground
  • 3rd -5th grade hallway near the media center

Remind your student to drop off their donations when they arrive at school!

Edina collected 10,000 lbs. of food during last year's food drive. Let’s beat that number this year! Click here to learn more and see the list of most-needed items.

STUDENTS VISITING FROM BORDEAUX

Some of our Normandale 5th graders will be participating in our “Back to Back” exchange program with schools in Bordeaux, France in June. As a part of this back to back exchange, fifth grade students from France will be visiting Normandale from April 10-20. During their stay, the French students will be spending a few days in the 5th grade classrooms, visiting other grade levels and taking field trips to experience the Twin Cities. This exchange allows for a unique cultural exchange for the host families and all the Normandale students who have an opportunity to interact with the French Students.

SUMMER FRENCH TUTORING

The Normandale Office has compiled a list of Normandale staff interested in tutoring over the summer. Please contact Anne Anderson if you would like to receive this list.

SUMMER BONJOUR CAMP

Are you interested in having your child practice French over the summer? Through the Edina Community Education program, we have Normandale teachers Madame Abdo (K), Madame Thomas (1st), Madame Heffelfinger (2nd), Madame Suglia (3rd), and Madame May (4th/5th) who will be teaching our Bonjour Camps! This is a great opportunity for our students to practice their French before the fall. Links and dates for camps are listed below.

Please note that the grade level is the grade they will be entering in the fall.

Our goal is to support every single EPS student who is facing a financial barrier so they can spend their summer learning something new, following their passions and connecting with their peers.

Do you need help paying for sports or clubs? Edina Give and Go grants up to $1,000 per student per school year to pay registration fees for sports, after school clubs or classes, tutoring, AP exams, instrument rental, drivers education, and more.
