SPCSA To Launch New Security Software Program at Entrance Gates on 9/6

Sea Pines CSA is in the process of transitioning to a new safety and security software program called CSA360, which will improve the efficiency of our Safety and Security Operations. This new system is being implemented in a phased approach, and we have successfully launched the phases for our Sea Pines Security Patrol and Dispatch operations.

In our next phase, expected to launch September 6, a newly designed paper hangtag pass will be issued at our entrance gates of Sea Pines, the main gate, located on Greenwood Drive and at the Ocean Gate located off Cordillo Parkway. This new hangtag will replace the previous yellow Sea Pines pass.

This change will only affect daily and weekly visitors who purchase a pass to enter Sea Pines. Transactions are cash only. For those who hold a previously issued unexpired Sea Pines pass, decal, or other form of access, you do not need to take any action.

Beach Lagoon PedestrianTimber Bridge Replacement Project Update

The existing wood timber pedestrian bridge located on Beach Lagoon Road (in proximity to Beachwalk 35A) that crosses over the lagoon has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced. Sea Pines CSA contractors are scheduled to begin demolition and reconstruction work the week of September 5th.

Project work will take approximately 6-8 weeks, weather permitting. During this time, pedestrians will need to use the detour to Beachwalk 35A as the bridge will not be available for use. Click here to view the detour map.

Hurricane Preparedness: Prepare Your Home, Build Your Emergency Kit

You can take steps to minimize the loss of life or property during a hurricane. Remember, if a hurricane occurs, emergency responders may not be able to immediately reach you. You should be prepared to be self-sustaining for at least three days.

Prepare Your Home

Do a safety check to make sure your home is best able to withstand the effects of a hurricane. Have your roof inspected, double-check hurricane shutters and make sure your insurance policies cover the types of damages hurricanes can cause. Make a list and take photos of your belongings as records.

Emergency Supplies Kit

It is important to keep enough supplies in your home to meet the needs of your family for at least three days. Assemble a Family Emergency Kit with items you may need in an emergency or evacuation. Store these supplies in sturdy, easy-to-carry containers such as suitcases, duffle bags or covered storage containers.
