About the presenter:
Megan Brakob Narvey is the Outreach Conservator at the Minnesota Historical Society, where she provides guidance to individuals and local historical organizations on caring for collections big and small across the state of Minnesota. Before coming to MNHS, Megan worked as an Objects Conservator at the Western Archaeological Conservation Center in Tucson, Arizona, and as the Objects Conservation Fellow at the Canadian Conservation Institute in Ottawa Ontario. Megan received a BA in chemistry from Carleton College, and an MA in Principles of Conservation and MSc in Conservation for Archaeology and Museums from University College London.

Game Day Roundup at SMSU Football games is back for year 2 and we want YOU to be part of the excitement!
Local businesses/vendors are encouraged to join us in the RA parking lot on the campus of SMSU as the newest tradition, Game Day Roundup, continues to grow. Two hours prior to all Mustang home football games, the RA lot is the place to be. Inflatables, food trucks, music and MORE! (Think Marshall Crazy Days – only on campus!) We are seeking/encouraging interested vendors to join us! Spots are complimentary. We ask that you bring what you need (tables/tents/etc.) and have a good time! Vendors are free to sell items, give away items, play games – whatever helps bring people to see you.

Newsletter Goals & Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our member's events with other business and community members. It's an informational newsletter and helps to promote our member businesses and their events. Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.
Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on the requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
*Event flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We don't include sales or promotions.
*Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge. You have the option of adding one additional week for $20.
*Submissions to be included must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's E-Connection - they can be emailed to chamber@marshallmn.org.
*All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
Did you find any errors? It happens! Although we appreciate notice of a small error in the newsletter, we only send out a corrected e-mail if absolutely necessary.
