Your Wednesday Dose of Shadow Rock News
SHADOW ROCK SEEK AND FIND
Thanks friends, for all your engagement and creativity in responding to the Seek and Find Challenge. This week's challenge honors the fall equinox. Last week's photo of the moving shelves in the "Print Room" storage area was first correctly identified by Shari Radcliff. Awesome, Shari!

Be the first to correctly identify where this photo was taken and be recognized in the following week's Rock the Week. Submit your guess by clicking the button on the left.

We are glad to hear from the Zaborowskis as they do their wedgeblade work with Habitat for Humanity in Helena, Montana. Thanks for what you do on behalf of the world.
~ NEW Volunteer Positions Open~
Can't get enough of Shadow Rock? Get close to the action with an afternoon at the front desk! We currently have shifts open for new hospitality volunteers on Monday and Tuesday afternoons (first, third, and fifth Mondays; every Tuesday). Afternoon volunteers typically work from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. Our volunteers at the front desk answer the phone and monitor the door... and are so very much appreciated! If you're interested in learning more or giving it a try, please email Lois.
Shadow Rock Board Zooming!
The Shadow Rock Board met for a retreat via Zoom this past weekend. Their time together included a speedy course in foundational Shadow Rock theology from Pastor Ken. We appreciate the board's investment of time and energy promoting and refining Shadow Rock's mission and vision.
Serving Immigrants and Refugees - a Shadow Rock Call to Action
We continue to hold in prayer families arriving to the US from Afghanistan and Haiti. One Afghan family we are claiming as "ours," by sponsoring their emigration to the United States. This will be rewarding, challenging, and life-giving work. Right now, we're in a "hurry up and wait" position, standing ready for updates. Stay tuned - things will be highly changeable for the new few weeks.

Your prayers for all families caught in our sometimes capricious and unjust immigration system are always appreciated. Pray, learn, and prepare with these resources:
