Call for Applications
DAAD Networking Tour "AI in Cyber Physical Systems"

Twice a year, DAAD selects a group of outstanding postdoctoral researchers and experienced PhD candidates worldwide to participate in the Postdoctoral Networking Tour in Artificial Intelligence (Postdoc-NeT-AI). The fellowship includes a Virtual Networking Week and a one-week travel stipend with plenty of opportunities to personally connect with leading researchers and research institutions from all over Germany. Fellows will also become part of the DAAD AInet Fellows and Alumni Network, thus expanding and strengthening the cooperation within the group and with the German research community.

German Chancellor Fellowship

Are you a graduate with initial leadership experience? Do you come from Brazil, the People’s Republic of China, India, South Africa or the USA? Would you like to implement a self-chosen project that supports your career development, is societally relevant and has a lasting public impact? The German Chancellor Fellowship might be right for you. Join our Research in Germany partners at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for a virtual information session to learn more about the program and hear from alumni, program directors, and more.

For Young College Graduates
International Parliamentary Scholarship Program

The IPS program allows participants to gain first-hand knowledge of Germany’s parliamentary system and political decision-making process during a three-month work placement with a Member of the German Parliament. Participants also take part in a rich educational program with German political foundations and have the chance to enroll in university classes, spending a total of five months in the German capital. IPS is open to college graduates who are U.S. citizens, under 30 on March 1, 2023, and have very good knowledge (B2+) of the German language.

Alumni Training
Industry 4.0: State of the Art, Challenges and Opportunities

From October 31 to November 4, 2022, the TU Berlin will be holding an alumni training funded by DAAD focusing on "Industry 4.0: State of the Art, Challenges and Opportunities" at the Technológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. Alumni of German institutions of higher education and research who are based in the Americas, have an engineering or related background, are currently working in research, teaching, industry, public administration, NGOs or start-ups, and are facing the phenomenon of digitalization in their professional environment are eligible to apply.
