The Junior Leadership Development of Henderson County Program, now in its 25th year, continues to provide high school juniors with unique opportunities to develop their leadership skills and gain insight into the Henderson County community. This year, students from Henderson County Public Schools, Veritas Christian Academy, and FernLeaf Community Charter School will participate, engaging in sessions designed to help them explore local industries, social and economic issues, and civic responsibility.
Each year, schools nominate students with demonstrated leadership qualities, creating a diverse group of future leaders. Through interaction with community and business leaders, the program encourages students to discover their potential, gain new perspectives, and consider meaningful ways to contribute to the community.
The 2024 - 2025 program is made possible through Presenting Sponsorships from Kimberly-Clark and Champion Comfort Experts, with additional support from AdventHealth, Camp Glen Arden, Chick-fil-A, and many other community partners.
