The Veritas Varsity Boys Soccer Team won the WPAC tournament last week! The Warriors defeated Lake Lure Classical Academy 10-1, and then beat Christian Family Academy 10-3 in the championship match. In the championship, Charlie Brake scored the 100th goal of his career! Caleb Randles was named to the All-Conference team, and Charlie Brake was named All-Conference and Player of the Year!
Our boys will be competing in the CSAA State tournament, beginning Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Veritas.
The Middle School Boys won their lone match last week, beating Brevard Academy 5-2. These boys will also be playing in the CSAA tournament. Their first match will be Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Veritas.
Our Varsity Volleyball Team also won their WPAC tournament last week! Veritas defeated Long Shoals Wesleyan 3-0, Christian Family Academy 3-0, and Challenger Early College HS 3-1 to capture the championship. Kaitlyn Miller and Bella Vollaro were named first team All-Conference, and Brooke Miller was named second team All-Conference. Great job ladies! Veritas will open up play in the CSAA tournament on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at Veritas.
The Middle School Girls finished their season with a 0-2 loss to Brevard Academy. Thank you to Erica Merrill for coaching the girls this year!
