A Message from the Office of the Provost

On Monday, August 8 we welcomed a cohort of over 140 new faculty to the university at New Faculty Orientation (NFO). While NFO focuses on introducing new faculty to the university, it's also a time to share the variety of resources that are here to support faculty success. You can access the digital materials and resources shared at NFO here.

Initial Guidance for Florida House Bill 7

A number of bills recently went into effect across Florida, including House Bill 7 (HB7). Please review the initial guidance developed by the Office of General Counsel in collaboration with a university-wide workgroup.

This is a living document and will be updated as we receive feedback and learn more about how to support faculty in complying with the bill. For questions or comments regarding the guidance, please email facultysuccess@usf.edu.
