EPA Lead Service Line Inventory Guidance Released
$15 billion will be available from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) for lead service line replacement. Water systems should focus on inventory of lead service lines so that systems will be able to access funding when it becomes available in 2024.

PFAS continues to be a challenge for municipalities and water authorities in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Water Environment Association (PWEA), the Pennsylvania Section of the American Water Works Association (PA-AWWA), and the Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association (PMAA) recognize the important role of cooperation in today’s regulatory and economic environment to meet water quality goals.
