MSDE Announces Second Round of Child Care Stabilization Grant Applications - Additional $125 Million in Funding Provided by American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 for Eligible Child Care Programs
BALTIMORE, MD (December 28, 2021) – The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) announced today that it will open the application window for the second and final round of Child Care Stabilization Grants on January 3, 2022. MSDE will distribute more than $125 million in funding, made available through the American Rescue Plan (ARP), to child care programs in Maryland. Along with a simplified application, MSDE is providing a new system of supports during the month of January to assist providers with the application process. Free Workshops for Caregivers and Educators
Arts for Learning Maryland, formerly Young Audiences of Maryland, will host a series of SIX FREE VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS for educators and caregivers.
These 90-minute workshops will take place on Zoom and support early childhood educators in discovering new arts strategies that support the development of our youngest learners in the classroom.
