Join us March 8-9 to tell your newspaper's story to legislators on Capitol Hill
Join us March 8-9 in Washington!
Andy Kniceley, publisher of WV News, believes the Local Journalism Sustainability Act is critical for the future of community newspapers — and he plans to tell his story to legislators on Capitol Hill as part of the America's Newspapers Legislative Fly-In in March.

Please consider joining him! The voices of newspaper publishers need to be heard.

Kniceley says: "The five-year period of tax breaks will enable us to recruit, retain and enhance the pay of our next generation of journalists, which will turn the tide of RIFs, pay and benefit reductions and employee burnout."

He added, "Local communities need the dedicated work of fair-minded journalists to report on the issues and good news of America’s small and mid-size towns and cities. This is the message that we must get across to our senators and congressmen. A message that must be discussed face-to-face."
