Council District 9 News

January 14, 2022

Hello Lydia,

Welcome Back! We have a new year ahead of us and I’m excited for another year of working with YOU to make District 9 and the City of San Diego a world-class city for all. As the past year has shown, it will take time, care, and collaboration to move our collective vision forward. That process starts with ensuring you are part of the decisions made and the solutions developed.

We recognize that a transparent and accessible government doesn’t just happen, but requires hard work. That work starts with building trust. In my new role as Council President and, of course, as your representative for Council District 9, I’m committed to continuing to build that trust with you. There are several opportunities, many of which we highlight in this newsletter, for you to share your honest feedback with me about things happening at City Hall.

I invite you to join me at a City Council meeting, community forum, or budget presentation as we work together to create a brighter future for all San Diegans. Thank you for your commitment to our district and our city. I can’t wait to see you at one of our upcoming events soon!

With gratitude,

Sean
