Good morning, Awesome SCS Teachers and Staff!
 
Welcome back! We have undoubtedly faced several uncertainties and challenges with teaching, learning, and working throughout the COVID pandemic—and there is still much work ahead of us. I am eternally grateful and extremely proud to lead an organization of teachers, leaders, and support staff who continue to persevere through these unprecedented times. I am excited you are here and hope you will apply what you learn this week during professional development to prepare our students for learning, leadership, and life.
 
As you know, last school year was like no other. I am proud of how we worked TOGETHER to serve students and families. I am confident this school year will have many more high marks than hurdles.
This year, our focus will be on accelerating student learning. We will approach this year with understanding and empathy for others and a passion for education and progress. I know that by giving our best for children every day, nothing is impossible.
 
You are the BEST teachers, principals, and school staff in the nation. Thank you for your steadfast support of my leadership.
