Scripture
 Acts 1:8

Message
"Same and Different"
Join us for worship on Sunday as we hear a message from the Book of Acts. We will celebrate Holy Communion together, and we will celebrate with Christians around the world, as this day is designated as World Communion Sunday.

Many of you have missed sharing in communion as we did before. This week, we will offer communion by intinction (dipping the bread in a common cup), and we will also offer pre-packaged elements as an option. You will be able to take a plastic cup factory-sealed with a gluten-free wafer and grape juice, which you may take back to your seat, or even to your home. We continue to seek ways to honor the sacrament in ways that are meaningful as well as safe. As always, the Lord's Table is open to all who wish to receive. We hope you will attend at 9 am (face masks encouraged) or 11 AM (face masks required).
Pastor Stella has been preaching through the Bible in 2021 and encouraging the congregation to read along. We will be reading through Acts of the Apostles and the letters of the New Testament, and will be finished by thanksgiving. If you have not been reading along, now would be a great time to join in.

If you want to download the weekly reading assignments, watch the introduction video, or watch past video guides visit https://pastorstella.net/the-bible-in-40-words/ There is a Facebook group called "The Bible in 40 Words" that you can join to receive the weekly videos and be able to comment, ask questions, and share insights with the group.

Meals on Wheels

It’s official - we are the new home for Kyle’s Meals on Wheels! It is so exciting to host them and use our underutilized fellowship hall kitchen as well as the craft room for office space. They bring their own team of volunteers, but could use a few more as they add more routes.

Welcome, Monica, Louis, and the whole team!
October Blessings Box Drive:
No tricks, just TREATS!

Donate sweet treats to the Blessings Box this October to sweeten up the lives of the people who utilize the Blessings Box in our community!

Items like cake mixes, icing, jello mixes, cookies and more! Chocolate might not do well right now since we are still having rather warm weather!

Items can be brought to the church service or placed directly into the Blessings Box. As always, please help us maintain the integrity and safety of our Blessings Box. Please do not donate open or used items. Items should be store bought and sealed, not home-made.
