EVENT CANCELLATIONS 

Empty Nesters Boat Ride around NYC on April 26 is cancelled.

Sisterhood's Night at the Theater on April 30 is cancelled.  If you have already purchased tickets, Sisterhood will be in touch with you to make arrangements.

Sisterhood Shabbat on May 9 will be rescheduled when we can safely share and worship together in-person.  We look forward to that day!


TBE'S CENTENNIAL YEAR IS HERE! 
To help all of us celebrate this momentous occasion -- to look back at our past and forward to our future -- the TBE 100 Committee is putting together a series of programs and activities that will take place throughout the year.  Mark your calendars as early as possible so you can participate and get involved in celebrating this milestone!  See flyer for list of activities.

The TBE 100 Mitzvah Project provides opportunities for congregants to honor TBE's centennial through the performance of gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness). Click here for mitzvah opportunities at the Schoke Jewish Family Service.

EMERGENCY FOOD BANK DRIVE
Thank you to everyone that supported this effort.  Checks are still being accepted.  Please make checks out to Temple Beth El (fully tax-deductible) and write Food Bank in the memo. 
THE PERIOD PROJECT

TBE Sisterhood has launched the Period Project to collect feminine personal care products for women in need. Each day, many women have to make the terrible choice of buying food for their family or feminine care products. There are women in our community who are forced to miss days at school or work every month.  A donation box is located in the hall near the main office. Items will be distributed by Schoke Jewish Family Service.

B'NAI MITZVAH PROJECTS
B'nai Mitzvah students are engaged in Mitzvah Projects as part of their upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  

Alexander Cohen is teaching kids from the Boys and Girls Club how to create Google Slides.

Owen Herz is raising money and awareness for the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind.

Brandon Nadel is collecting children's books for local shelters in Stamford.
