Dear AMCA Member,
As business leaders of AMCA member companies, let us assure you that the members of the Executive Committee are indeed impacted by the economic challenges brought on by COVID-19. And if we accept that the HVAC industry lags the general economy, we need to keep an eye on the fourth quarter of 2020.
AMCA has reduced its planned spend for this year by cancelling meetings, reducing staff, and delaying planned property- and office-maintenance projects. However, to maintain membership value and preserve AMCA’s place in the market, its programs have to continue on, and this limits the scope of budget cuts available.
However, it’s possible for AMCA to provide some modest relief from cash-flow demands by dividing AMCA’s annual dues-and-assessments invoices into quarterly invoices. The total dues and assessments will be the same, but quarterly payments will be easier to handle. To reiterate, this is modest relief, to be sure, but please accept this as acknowledgement your association understands that times are likely difficult for many of our members, and we want to help where we can.
