Food Pantry Reopening Saturday, August 1st, 9-11 a.m.

The Food Pantry is re-opening the first Saturday in August for drive-thru food distribution only . We have signs in front of the church and will also advertise via Nextdoor in Kyle, Buda, and zip codes between Slaughter and Stassney on the east side of IH-35. Help spread the word!

WHEN: Saturdays, 9 - 11 a.m., beginning August 1
WHERE: MUMC West Side Parking Lot - portico closest to the main double-door entrance
Beginning Wednesday, August 5th, we will accept donations of food, baby items and paper products each Wednesday from 9-11 AM ONLY. Bring these items outside of the East side double doors and place them in the collection receptacle. Please buy items on our shopping list -->click here!
We also accept monetary donations of HEB gift cards or checks mailed to: Manchaca UMC, PO Box 460, Manchaca, TX 78652. Be sure to designate "Food Pantry" on the memo line of your check. Thank you for your generousity in advance as we feed the hungry in our surrounding areas. ~ Margaret Bowen

Drive-In Communion Service - PLEASE RSVP!
Sunday, August 2 - 9:45 or 10:15 AM

Join us in taking Communion together at a Drive-In Communion Service. Pre-packaged elements will be given out to those that drive up (you must be in your car, and you must enter the West parking lot through Lowden Lane). Tune in to FM 88.3 on your radio and listen in as we take Communion together. We also hope to have volunteers deliver elements to those that may not be able to drive to church. Choose between the 9:45 or 10:15 a.m. service (each will be 10-15 minute long). Please sign up to attend the service, request home delivery, or volunteer to deliver communion to others.
MUMC Virtual Paint Night Friday, Aug.14 - 6:30 p.m.

Try your hand at painting with watercolors at our virtual paint night. Follow easy step by step instructions (via Zoom) to create your own masterpiece! We'll be completing paintings designed by Let's Make Art ( letsmakeart.com).
In order to participate, you'll need:
Watercolor paper (recommend Canson XL) * Watercolors and paintbrush * Water!
