PVCC Hispanic Alumni Career Panel Inspires Students
|
The Hispanic Alumni Career Panel was the culmination of PVCC's Hispanic Heritage Month and a featured component of Career Week. The PVCC Alumni shared their college experiences and career insights with us on October 14th. This inspiring group of panelists encouraged students to get involved, pursue their passions and take time to explore the opportunities set before them. Panelist Denisse Leon urged students to "embrace failure and learn from it. Keep failing, keep getting it, and keep learning." She attributes her successful educational and professional journey to these moments of self-reflection that result from encountering challenges and opportunities.

It was empowering to be heard by the PVCC President and it was an honor to be one of the original nine students in that first O-Chem class...
