Dear Friends,
I am going to Bangladesh on February 22nd to supervise DCI's projects. I am hoping to bring with me various gifts for the children we support, as well as more practical items for our offices and rural projects.
Our SunChild Home Orphanage program, in particular, provides 50 underprivileged girls with complete support and the resources they need to live in a safe home, stay in school, and become independent and productive citizens. The program provides recreational activities such as learning traditional dances. Used jewelry would be greatly appreciated for these activities. Used watches and electronics would also be very helpful for studies and the everyday life of the underprivileged children of the SunChild Program in rural villages.
If you would consider asking your close friends to donate any of the following new or used items to this effort it would be an enormous help to us:
- Smart Phones, iPhones, iPads, Tablets (For children's studies and communication with our U.S. office)
- Watches (For children at the SunChild Program in rural villages to help manage their time)
- Jewelry/Costume Jewelry (For older girls at the SunChild Home Orphanage for their dance performances and other events)
Please send your donations to the following address by U.S. Post
(shipping costs are also tax-deductible)
:
Dr. Ehsan Hoque
Distressed Children & Infants Intl. (DCI)
50 Church St.,5th Floor
Harvard Square
Cambridge, MA 02138
Or call us at # 857-292-9186 to arrange a pick-up.
DCI is a 501(c)(3) certified non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible!
Please know we appreciate your unwavering support and commitment to our mission, and your desire to help improve the lives of underprivileged children in Bangladesh. The work that
Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI)
does on behalf of impoverished children would not be possible without your valuable contributions
